Fat City!

return/format change?

Hello. It has been several weeks since I’ve posted much here, and if you had even noticed that, then it warms my heart.

I visited family in Colorado for three weeks over Christmas (took a lot of time off) and it was good but also kind of way too intense. Anyways, I was given a little handheld digital camera, and if you’ve noticed all I’ve posted lately have been videos. I’m not planning on ceasing word-posts, but they’ll be supplemented by shitty videos you can ignore now, too! That said, it is nice to have and use.

I am mostly living up to the resolutions I made in the shower on New Year’s Eve about just generally being productive and frugal and like, happier (ha-ha-ha). Part of that is I did two open mics in Colorado while I was home and starting Monday I’m gonna try and make that shit regular.

I’d also like to note the passing of my Granny Bea (great-great-aunt technically, I think). We have the same birthday and she was 101 when she passed. She was a very strong-willed woman and an early role model who taught me the value of generosity and compassion.
